Politecnico di Milano is a public scientific-technological university which trains engineers, architects and industrial designers. Established in 1863, Politecnico di Milano is one of the most outstanding technical universities in Europe, as it offers high-quality teaching and a variety of undergraduate, postgraduate and PhD programmes. The mission of the Department of Mechanical Engineering is to promote and develop culture, research and innovation in its sectors of reference, but also in new fields doomed to become more and more important in society and in our present background. • Reduction and utilization of Fe-, Mn-, Ni-, Cr-rich magnetic fraction
